* Give local communities more power to preserve open space through common sense development controls

* Support state programs that help protect our natural areas

* Address flooding issues in our community through infrastructure improvements and with tax credits for private property owners who take steps to prevent flood damage

* Promote a comprehensive energy policy that recognizes both traditional and more environmentally friendly energy generation methods
